Women are People Too.

Back in the day, a girl was a harlot if she showed her ankles, then knees, so on and so forth. The fun part of the whole fucked up ordeal is that women are the reason these things changed over time. Women fought and changed what 'socially acceptable' is for women. Props. MAJOR props. You guys wanted to show more skin, and I get that. It gets hot outside, no one wants to go outside on a nice summer day and be layered down to your ankles. Just don't bitch when guys check out the extra skin you're showing. I know you're looking at the guys walking around with their shirts off. They just don't care.

I began to drift there, in reality the fact that women are sexualized about 80% of the time is, to me, mildly annoying. It's somewhat necessary though. It's one of those catch-22's. For example; when I'm watching t.v. and a make-up commercial comes on, WHY THE FUCK IS SHE IN HER UNDERWEAR!? I'm trying to see what make up she's using, not what he tits look like fallin' out of her bra. Does she have cover up on her chest? Thighs? Tummy? I don't think so, and if so, I don't notice cause I'm to busy being annoyed that this girls getting ready for the day by putting her makeup on first. No one does that. Put some clothes on the damn model. It's a damn make-up commercial  Yeah, sex sells, but what guys are going to buy make-up for their girls? That shits way to complicated and it's unnecessary. Buy you're own damn make-up.

On the other hand, underwear advertisements are an awesome way to boost sales by over-sexualizing the models/actress'. A girl looks really good in an underwear set that a guy happens to see, may very well run out and buy some for their girlfriends. That's just about it on that.

Then there's the music videos, where the girls are just ALL OVER guys in an obscene amount. Go ahead, watch a rap video and tell me that's not true. It's dumb. It increases rape-culture as a whole due to the fact that younger generations seem to think it's alright to rub your near naked body all over some random-ass dude in the club, and the guy is going to think that because you were drunk and rubbin' all up on him, that it's alright to coax you into comin' home with him and fuckin' the rest of the night away. Then the next morning begins with the wonderful walk of shame and an internal struggle of "was it rape because I didn't say no? I didn't want to have sex with him but I rubbed my near naked body all over him all night until we did have sex." Why is this a thing that happens in our society? Because of the fact that EVERYTHING is made to make women look like sex machines and nothing else. They don't glamorize women in power (Female officers, female doctors/nurses, female construction workers, ect.). Only women in sexual ways. The worst part of it is, Men can't do shit about it, aside from the obvious stop exploiting it.

Women, this is in your hands, stop ALLOWING yourselves to be objectified, and stop selling your soul for a paycheck. If you're a model, stop allowing the photographer/director to make you do something you're not comfortable with because he signs your paychecks. That borderline makes you a prostitute in my eyes. Where do you draw the line? Do you even HAVE a line? If you're shooting for playboy, then go right ahead, take your damn clothes off, obviously you're comfortable with it. It's not all negative, but a makeup commercial and the director says "Alright, get into your underwear" Just respond with "No." You can do it, and with the power that comes with all the over sexual content in the world, you actually have the power. If you stand together.

To me, the sexual exploitation of women is a mild inconvenience, because I'm smart enough to see that it's unnecessary in most aspects, but helpful in others. And I love slutty women, I REALLY do, but really now, not everyone needs to be slutty all the time in the public light. Music video girls, video game girls, reality tv girls, and the girls on the flyer you see on the bus. Just ridiculous. Throw on a pair of jeans and a tshirt, Shit man. This really doesn't need to be a thing, but it will be. I wish you the best. Men out there, stop being so damn misogynistic, jokes are jokes, but some of you are just flat out douches. If you weren't a douche it might help the women gain some confidence or self esteem. With that, we could make a better world if we stop allowing ourselves to be put to shame all the time. Trust me, it IS that easy. You just need to put forth effort.
